Engineering Admission In India 2024
Engineering is one of the best subjects in India. The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Engineering (BE) are priority engineering programmes. The course lasts four years and is divided into eight six-month semesters, with an examination at the end of the semester. All examinations must be passed before the degree is awarded. Recruitment is usually done in the fourth year of study.
Eligibility Criteria To Get Admission In Engineering 2024-2025
- Candidates must successfully complete at least 45% of the examination in physics, chemistry and mathematics to gain admission to the institute or university
- Percentages are determined by institutional or university guidelines. Each university or institution has its own requirements, but it should not be less than 45% in PCM
- Most engineering colleges and universities give admissions based on JEE scores. So, it is advisable for a student to qualify for JEE Mains exam.
- All India Technical Education Counseling standards and norms are the sole basis required for eligibility for admission to technical programs in India (AICTE).
